TS12 Quilt-along: Debut Boot Block #1

The time has come to start stitchin'!

I am so excited to share this project while I count down the days till we have new music. This week we are starting where it all began with Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift.

The block is inspired by the aesthetics of young Taylor, our country queen. The cowboy boot is a classic accessory from this era - the background inspired by the swirling blues of the cover art. I recommend using a teal shade and a couple shades of your favourite brown.

When foundation paper piecing, make sure to give yourself generous cuts for each piece. Otherwise, you may end up short (which is sometimes fixable, sometimes not). Check out my instagram for more information on how to make the block but down below is where you can download the pattern.
