Hi there, I'm Nix aka @MadeByYouQuilts.

I want to welcome you to the shop, I hope you'll stay awhile. My goal is for you to feel encouraged to make more art! I plan to help you along by offering free patterns, quilt-alongs, kits and bundles and project ideas.

What's New

Starting September 5th, I will be releasing a free quilt block per week inspired by Taylor Swift and all her different Eras. In anticipation of TS12, I have designed twelve different blocks. There is a mix of foundation paper pieced, traditionally pieced and (mostly optional) applique blocks.

This quilt-along is a bit of a mystery. The blocks are finished at 7" , unfinished at 7.5". The finished project will be a wall hanging of approximately 28"W by 35"L.

Each week I will post a free pattern here on the site and on Instagram for you to follow. I have been inspired by song lyrics, her cover art, and tour aesthetics. The goal was to make a Taylor Swift quilt along that 1) was a reflection of her work and 2) was a cute quilt. Each of these blocks could be used alone or in other projects without the immediate association! So even if you are not the biggest fan, keep your Eyes Open and you might find a block that suits your Style.
