Happy (scrappy) New Year!

Happy January all!

So sorry I went off the grid at the end of 2025. We had some chaotic family events and lots of last minute projects to complete. My scrap pile was worked through and completely restored all within the same two weeks.

I am cooking up some good things here. New kits, new patterns and new media! I will be saturating the internet with Made by You projects. Make sure to follow my instagram @madebyyouquilts and youtube channel @madebynix to keep up with it all.

Mini Metropolis is now on the shop and a beginner friendly quilt kit is coming soon. The sample is being stitched every night after my day job- so it shouldn't be too long!

Here's a little preview:

I really love the hand drawn textured doodles and the range of subjects: airplanes and school busses and critters and it's all CUTE. I think the blue stripe will make a lovely binding.

I can already think of a few children in my life who might inherit this. Hopefully that means the mom-to-be, auntie, bestie and grandma will enjoy stitching this up too!

Anyways, I have to go work on making the kit and pattern so I can return with triumph!
